Dear Lynda,
I wanted to write you to tell you how much I have enjoyed your CD.
I am a professional Floral Designer and owner of a very unique
business The Enchanted Florist. I operate my business out of
my home. I started this business approximately 2 years ago.
My concept is to set appointments with my customers and I go
directly to them. I go to their homes or wherever they feel
comfortable, a coffee shop, a restaurant or anywhere they would
like. I believe that planning a wedding should be fun and
relaxing. But in doing this I have so many books and samples
to bring along with me.
Your CD has taken the place of several books. I simply bring
my lap top and let the bride search thru your CD with my guidance.
They love it ! What I find useful is the guide as to what
flowers are used in each bouquet and arrangement. Showing
pictures on a lap top computer gives the bouquets and arrangements a
much better picture than looking a catalogs. The colors are
much clearer. Once the bride has decided on what she wants for
her bouquet and if it is in fact one that she has picked from your
CD, I offer to print her a picture of this bouquet and send it to
her so she can show her family and friends. The print option
is very helpful. The music that accompanies the CD seems to
set the mood and relax the customer.
Not only has your CD helped in selling to my customers, it has also
helped in inspiring me also. After designing so many
floral arrangements sometimes I get a brain lock. When
this happens I start thumbing thru catalogs and I also take out your
CD to stimulate my brain. It works every time. Your CD
has also given me new ideas to offer to my clients.
I see a great need for your product not only to brides but also to
the professional. I am finding that more and more brides who
are on a very tight budget are doing their own weddings.
I frequent craft stores quite often to find unusual items to use in
my arrangements and I see brides in these craft shops buying how to
books on wedding arrangements all the time. If you offered
your CD in book stores and craft shops I believe they would be a big
success.
I also like the fact that you personally can be contacted for any
questions. This is very important for the do it yourself
bride.
I wish you all the success you deserve.
Best Regards
Bea

This item will allow busy brides and wedding planners to sit down and view this CD when THEY have time. It would be good for wedding planners to have more than one copy so brides can take it home and view at their leisure and bring it back when they're finished. That also will help prevent a "change of mind" several times during the ordering process. When they come back they should have a very good idea of what they want which will save the wedding planner/florist time. If they have one to take home the mother's, groom, etc. can all have a part in the planning process. They could check it out like you would a library book? I was also glad to see that my ideas for decorating for receptions and church's were very similar to yours. I live and work in a rural area so I must depend on whatever books and/or cd's I can find which isn't always easy. Having a major retailer distribute this would be great. I was thrilled to find your cd on ebay and the transaction was simple and fast. My daughter and I are both nurses but do wedding/event planning and silk florals on the side. We focus on providing affordable elegance for our brides without breaking their budget. We focus on renting alot of items to them (besides the usual stuff like candelabras, etc.) including centerpieces, pew bows, arrangements, etc. That way they are not stuck with alot of things after the wedding that they won't know what to do with. If you come out with any more cd's of different kinds of theme weddings let me know! Hope this review is helpful to you. Best of Luck! Brenda Ifland Jennifer Elson Silksational Events & Florals 250 West F Phillipsburg, KS 67661 Linda, The CD gave me a lot of ideas to what I could use in my wedding. It has great features and a lot of other brides would look for any type of media that will help them recognized the special decorations to use. I would love to see more products like this out in the market, it is alot easier than searching on 1000 magazines. Thank you, Ana Obando
